« Death Note » démarre en trombes avec des orchestrations rappelant des groupes comme Dimmu Borgir, et on sait déjà que la puissance sera de la partie. La voix de Twisty Suicide emporte tout sur son passage et est soutenue par les chœurs puissants de Jonny Suicide. Le métal industriel du groupe est une véritable réussite qui rappelle le meilleur du genre. Les parties de guitare de « 1000 Ways To Die » feront hocher la tête à tous les auditeurs sans effort. On peut d’ailleurs saluer le combo diablement efficace que forment Steven Suicide et Donnie Von Gailing! Leurs riffs sont d’une efficacité folle et donnent aux morceaux une force de frappe impressionnante. Si vous aimez remuer c’est à Veritas Suicide qu’il faut s’adresser. Son jeu de batterie donne envie de danser comme jamais dans son salon, avec parfois un ajout d’une rythmique plus sombre qui vient nous rappeler les visuels de la formation. Jonny s’illustre à la basse tout au long de ce nouvel EP, mais son moment de bravoure se trouve sur « Everyday », véritable hymne indus! Sur plusieurs morceaux de l’album les orchestrations viennent s’ajouter au instruments du groupe. Elles sont le travail de Frank Dormain, qui réussit à ajouter du grandiose supplémentaire à une musique qui n’en manquait clairement pas. Ce nouvel EP des américains se terminent avec le rapide « Sinner » qui montre une fois encore que le groupe faut nous faire bouger aussi bien sur scène que dans nos maisons.
Suicide Puppets ont avec Beyond The Veil sorti un EP qui nous a donné envie d’en découvrir plus de leur discographie. Leur métal industriel est maîtrisé et entraînant à souhaits. On ne peux que vous encourager à plonger dans leur univers au plus vite, et on espère que leur signature sur un label français apportera de belles dates très rapidement.

« Death Note » kicks off with a bang, featuring orchestrations reminiscent of bands like Dimmu Borgir, and we already know that the power will be there. Twisty Suicide‘s voice takes everything in its stride, supported by Jonny Suicide‘s powerful backing vocals. The band’s industrial metal is a real success, reminiscent of the best of the genre. The guitar parts on « 1000 Ways To Die » will have every listener nodding along effortlessly. The devilishly effective combo of Steven Suicide and Donnie Von Gailing is to be commended! Their riffs are insanely effective and give the tracks an impressive punch. If you like to shake things up, Veritas Suicide is the place to go. Their drumming makes you want to dance like never before in your living room, with the occasional addition of a darker rhythm that reminds us of the band’s visuals. Jonny plays bass throughout the new EP, but his bravura moment comes on ‘Everyday’, a veritable indus anthem! On several tracks on the album, orchestrations are added to the band’s instruments. They are the work of Frank Dormain, who succeeds in adding an extra touch of grandeur to music that is clearly not lacking in it. This new EP from the Americans ends with the fast-paced ‘Sinner’, which shows once again that the band can get us moving on stage as well as in our homes.
With Beyond The Veil, Suicide Puppets have released an EP that has left us wanting more from their discography. Their industrial metal is as controlled and catchy as you could wish for.
