Disponible dès ce vendredi 29 mars, laissez vous porter par des textes romantiques mélanger à de la pop parfois funk mais surtout bien électronique.

C’est dans un univers pop qu’Étienne Détré a décidé de nous embarquer avec son EP, La Fugue. Réussissant à captiver un peu de nous dès les premières secondes, c’est accompagné d’une basse très funky que l’on se retrouve à danser avec une aisance folle. L’univers romantique du Français est d’une douceur folle et sonne très nostalgique. Cette nostalgie vient certes des paroles, mais aussi de cette intonation de chant, qui rappelle un Etienne Daho à son jeune âge. Le jeune amiénois intègre de beaux moments de flute traversière dans ses compositions, pour en faire des titres uniques. « Porcelaine » pourrait voir apparaitre un featuring avec Calogero avec aisance. Intemporel est surement le mot qui nous restera de cet EP. Les mélodies semblent hors du temps et cela qu’on soit en morceau totalement électronique, qu’avec « La Folia » additionnant guitare folk et flute traversière.

Le Français est loin d’être perdu dans sa fugue, il est même plutôt en train de rentrer dans la cour des grands. L’artiste propose un univers assez singulier reprenant bon nombre de code de la pop française. On se laisse porter dans son univers pour un beau moment musical.

Étienne Détré has taken us into a pop universe with his EP, La Fugue. Captivating us from the very first seconds, it’s with a funky bass that we find ourselves dancing with insane ease. The Frenchman’s romantic universe is insanely sweet and sounds very nostalgic. This nostalgia certainly comes from the lyrics, but also from the intonation of the vocals, reminiscent of a young Etienne Daho. The young man from Amiens incorporates beautiful moments of transverse flute into his compositions, making them unique tracks. « Porcelaine » could easily be featuring Calogero. Timeless is probably the word that will stay with us from this EP. The melodies seem timeless, whether on a totally electronic track or on « La Folia », which combines folk guitar and transverse flute.

The Frenchman is far from lost in his fugue; in fact, he’s on his way back to the big leagues. The artist’s universe is quite singular, echoing many of the codes of French pop. Let yourself be carried away by his universe, for a beautiful musical moment.
