Enorme soirée en perspective à l’Aéronef! Ce soir on retrouve sur la grande scène de la salle lilloise le duo de rappeurs Scylla et Furax Barbarossa qui viennent nous présenter leur album Portes Du Désert sorti en mai 2025 et autant vous dire que beaucoup on fait le déplacement pour ne pas manquer une miette du concert du duo franco-belge. Pour les accompagner ils ont choisi la musicienne toulousaine Dinaa qui vient nous présenter ses morceaux entre acoustique et soul.

Dinaa arrive sur scène seule avec sa guitare et commence son set avec un titre comme un clin d’œil aux artistes l’ayant invité, puisqu’elle nous chante son envie de faire un feat avec Scylla, le tout servi par une mélodie acoustique des plus magistrales et une voix qui fait déjà mouche. La musicienne présente ses morceaux mais aussi ses influences avec une reprise de A2H et une autre de « You Know I’m No Good » de Amy Winehouse. La seconde termine de mettre tout le monde d’accord avec une voix qui rivalise, tout en gardant son identité, avec la chanteuse anglaise. Dinaa nous annonce la sortie de son album Maison Vide pour mars prochain et nous enchante avec des titres comme « Peine de Coeur » ou encore le magnifique « Désolée pour le bruit » coécrite avec Furax Barbarossa, son compatriote toulousain. Comme depuis le début du set on est conquis par la voix, sa présence solaire et son jeu de guitare magnifique. Le public applaudit largement, tout aussi ravi que nous par se qui se déroule sur scène. Pour terminer ce set qui annonce de bien belles choses pour l’artiste du côté de Lille, la chanteuse nous offre une chanson très forte évoquant le génocide en Palestine. Autant vous dire que l’émotion est présente en force dans la fosse de l’Aéronef. La chanteuse remercie le public pour l’accueil et quitte la scène sous des applaudissements fournis après nous avoir emporté dans son univers tout au long du set avec brio. De notre côté on a découvert une artiste qu’on hésitera pas à suivre et à aller revoir en concert dès que possible. Et évidemment on guettera la sortie de l’album pour vous en parler. Un véritable coup de coeur pour ouvrir cette soirée!
La scène est installée et le public est prêt à voir débarquer les deux stars de la soirée sur scène. Scylla et Furax Barbarossa s’installent, après une belle introduction présentant l’univers de l’album Portes Du Désert, autour d’une table pour déclamer leur premier titre « 10 jours, 10 nuits ». Dès ce premier titre on est frappé par la puissance des textes et la qualité du rap des deux amis. Sur scène ils sont accompagné de leur DJ qui balance les magnifiques morceaux emplis de samples et de mélodies plus captivants les uns que les autres. La puissance vocale du duo n’a pas d’égal et la qualité de leurs textes vient nous toucher au coeur en quelques instants. C’est simples leurs 16 nous rendent contemplatifs tant ils sont calibrés pour allier émotion et puissance indéniable. L’ambiance est électrique dans la salle et le public reprend en chœur des titres comme « Nouveau Monde » ou encore Sales Mômes ». L’alchimie entre Scylla et Furax est évidente et montre à quel point leur manière de rapper se complète à merveille. De temps en temps pendant le set des backeurs font leur apparition pour renforcer l’énergie sur scène, qui ne manque pourtant pas vu la performance du duo. On se ballade dans l’album qui est évidemment présenté dans ses grandes largeurs. Chaque texte est une leçon de rap et respire autant les messages forts que l’amitié évidente qui émane de cette performance. Parfois chacun d’eux à le droit à son moment plus personnel en solo sur scène, comme dans une émotion magique qui vient vous coller des frissons.
Le duo annonce avoir un album dans les tuyaux pour bientôt et nous présente un premier titre qui en est extrait en rappant quelques lignes sur la version studio. Le public est aux anges de découvrir en avant première cette nouveauté, et les deux rappeurs ravis par l’accueil n’hésitent pas à en proposer un deuxième à l’écoute. Autant vous dire que ce petit interlude posant un œil et une oreille vers le futur n’annonce que de belles choses. Viendra ensuite un moment suspendu. On voit Dinaa revenir sur scène accompagnée de sa guitare et s’installer aux côtés de Scylla pour un titre inédit. Comme un clin d’œil à son morceau chanté plus tôt la musicienne nous dévoile ici son feat avec Scylla, visiblement écrit dans la journée en coulisses si on en croit la téléphone avec les paroles dans la main du rappeur. Un beau moment de partage qui montre que ces artistes savent offrir de beaux moments de tendresse avec le mélange envoutant de la voix forte de Scylla et de celle enchanteresse de Dinaa. Le duo Scylla et Furax Barbarossa reprend les commandes pour une fin de concert électrique où le public continue de leur donner toute son énergie sur des titres qui montrent une fois de plus à quel point l’union franco-belge maîtrise la langue mieux que personne. Des pogos font même leur apparition dans la fosse et s’intensifient toujours plus jusqu’au fameux moment du dernier single en date « Hayawan » où les deux rappeurs descendent une table dans la fosse pour s’installer au plus près du public pour déclamer leur texte. Les paroles sont déjà connus par les fans et l’ambiance prend une dose de vitamines supplémentaires avec l’intégralité du public présent dans la fosse dans les airs, sautant au rythme de cet hymne des deux rappeurs. Ils reviennent ensuite sur scène pour quelques minutes de rap de haute volée supplémentaire avant de remercier une fois de plus le public lillois (et très belge aussi ce soir) pour l’accueil, visiblement émus et ravis de cette soirée passée à l’Aéronef. On quitte la salle conquis en se promettant de foncer écouter le prochain disque dès qu’il sera annoncé et de vous en parler ici même ainsi que de retourner voir le duo en concert dès que possible! Quelle belle soirée au son d’un rap aussi puissant qu’émouvant grâce au talent de Scylla et Furax Barbarossa !

A huge night is in store at L’Aéronef! Tonight, the rap duo Scylla and Furax Barbarossa will take to the main stage in Lille to present their album Portes Du Désert, released in May 2025. Suffice to say, many people have made the trip to ensure they don’t miss a moment of the Franco-Belgian duo’s concert. Accompanying them will be Toulouse-based musician Dinaa, who will be performing her acoustic and soul-inspired tracks.

Dinaa arrives on stage alone with her guitar and begins her set with a song that nods to the artists who invited her, singing about her desire to collaborate with Scylla, accompanied by a masterful acoustic melody and a voice that immediately hits the mark. The musician presents her songs but also her influences with a cover of A2H and another of Amy Winehouse‘s ‘You Know I’m No Good’. The second song wins everyone over with a voice that rivals the English singer’s, while retaining its own identity. Dinaa announces the release of her album Maison Vide for next March and enchants us with tracks such as ‘Peine de Coeur’ and the magnificent ‘Désolée pour le bruit’, co-written with Furax Barbarossa, her fellow Toulouse native. As has been the case since the beginning of the set, we are won over by her voice, her sunny presence and her magnificent guitar playing. The audience applauds loudly, just as delighted as we are by what is happening on stage. To finish off this set, which promises great things for the artist from Lille, the singer treats us to a powerful song about the genocide in Palestine. Needless to say, emotions are running high in the pit at L’Aéronef. The singer thanks the audience for their warm welcome and leaves the stage to thunderous applause after brilliantly transporting us into her world throughout the set. For our part, we have discovered an artist that we will not hesitate to follow and see in concert again as soon as possible. And of course, we will be on the lookout for the album’s release so we can tell you all about it. A real favourite to open the evening!
The stage is set and the audience is ready to see the two stars of the evening take to the stage. After a beautiful introduction presenting the world of the album Portes Du Désert, Scylla and Furax Barbarossa settle down around a table to perform their first track, ‘10 jours, 10 nuits’ (10 days, 10 nights). From this first track, we are struck by the power of the lyrics and the quality of the two friends’ rap. On stage, they are accompanied by their DJ, who plays magnificent tracks filled with samples and melodies, each more captivating than the last. The duo’s vocal power is unrivalled and the quality of their lyrics touches our hearts in an instant. Quite simply, their 16 bars make us contemplative, so perfectly are they calibrated to combine emotion and undeniable power. The atmosphere in the room is electric, and the audience sings along to songs like ‘Nouveau Monde’ and ‘Sales Mômes’. The chemistry between Scylla and Furax is obvious and shows how well their rapping styles complement each other. From time to time during the set, backing singers appear to reinforce the energy on stage, which is already high thanks to the duo’s performance. We take a stroll through the album, which is obviously presented in its entirety. Each text is a lesson in rap and exudes both powerful messages and the obvious friendship that emanates from this performance. Sometimes each of them has their own personal moment on stage, like a magical emotion that gives you goosebumps.
The duo announced that they have an album in the works and presented a first track from it, rapping a few lines from the studio version. The audience is delighted to get a sneak preview of this new track, and the two rappers, thrilled by the reception, don’t hesitate to offer a second one for us to listen to. Suffice to say that this little interlude, which gives us a glimpse of the future, promises only good things to come. Then came a moment of suspense. Dinaa returned to the stage with her guitar and sat down next to Scylla for a new track. As a nod to the song she sang earlier, the musician revealed her collaboration with Scylla, which was clearly written backstage earlier in the day, judging by the phone with the lyrics in the rapper’s hand. It’s a beautiful moment of sharing that shows how these artists know how to offer beautiful moments of tenderness with the captivating blend of Scylla‘s powerful voice and Dinaa’s enchanting voice. The duo Scylla and Furax Barbarossa took back control for an electric end to the concert, with the audience continuing to give them all their energy on tracks that once again showed how well the Franco-Belgian duo master the language. Pogo dancing even breaks out in the pit and intensifies until the famous moment of the latest single, ‘Hayawan’, when the two rappers climb down from a table in the pit to get closer to the audience and recite their lyrics. The lyrics are already known by the fans and the atmosphere gets an extra boost with the entire audience in the pit in the air, jumping to the rhythm of the two rappers’ anthem. They then return to the stage for a few more minutes of high-flying rap before thanking the Lille audience (and the very Belgian audience too tonight) once again for their welcome, visibly moved and delighted with their evening at L’Aéronef. We leave the venue won over, promising ourselves to rush out and listen to the next album as soon as it is announced and to tell you all about it here, as well as to go and see the duo in concert again as soon as possible! What a great evening, with rap that is as powerful as it is moving, thanks to the talent of Scylla and Furax Barbarossa!
