Ce mercredi 11 mars, nous nous sommes rendus à La Bulle Café pour une soirée, organisée par les soins d’A Gauche De La Lune, avec Liv Del Estal. La chanteuse propose un son électro mélangé avec de la pop, mais promet dans tous les cas de nous faire danser et chanter avec elle, un grand sourire aux lèvres.

Ce soir, pas de première partie prévue : on entre directement dans le vif du sujet. Messes Basses, DJ et producteur accompagnant ce soir Liv Del Estal, entre en premier sur scène et lance l’introduction de la soirée avec un beat puis on part sur de l’électro histoire que tout le monde se mettent à bouger un peu. Après quelques minutes, la chanteuse arrive sur scène en se présentant rapidement : “Moi c’est Liv Del Estal mais tu peux aussi m’appeler… “La Chica Tamagotchi””, et il n’en fallut pas plus pour lancer ce titre lumineux et dansant qu’on reprend aisément dans la foule. Liv Del Estal a commencé sa carrière dans la pop mais maintenant plus aucun doute n’est possible : cette période a bel et bien pris un tournant avec l’ajout de l’électro dans les prods auxquelles sa voix se mêle parfaitement. C’est une renaissance qui a débuté dans nos oreilles en 2024, notamment avec le titre “Space Invaders”. Imprégné d’une ambiance club et de sonorités des années 2000, on s’échappe dans la musique.
Mais la musique reste un refuge, un endroit nostalgique où l’on combat ses propres démons, peu importe la vitesse des BPM ou la puissance du beat, et ça Liv Del Estal nous le dit parfaitement sur l’introduction du morceau suivant : “Si on est là c’est parce qu’au fond on est tous un peu des “Fragile Hardcore”.” Un morceau qui combine ces deux contrastes qui, au final, ne se trouvent jamais loin l’un de l’autre. Avant de lancer le titre “À travers les buildings”, sur un tempo qui augmente toujours plus, Liv Del Estal se retrouve avec une bouteille de rhum à la main qui disparaît bien vite dans celles du public.
La connexion entre la chanteuse et son DJ est plus que palpable : les regards et sourires échangés ne laissent aucun doute sur le fait qu’ils apprécient le moment, s’amuse aussi sur scène et je pense que le public le leur rend plutôt bien. Rien qu’avec les introductions des chansons, le public rugit de joie lorsqu’il reconnaît le titre. Tout le monde a la place de danser comme si nous nous retrouvions dans une soirée en boîte. Et comme l’a dit Liv Del Estal au début de son set, La Bulle Café offre un lieu intimiste qui permet, pour sa première date à Lille, d’être vraiment connecté avec son public. Avant de passer à la chanson “Casse toi”, le morceau est introduit un peu comme un exorcisme de toutes ces fois où des personnes ont été mauvaises avec nous mais où l’on n’a pas su répondre sur le coup, alors qu’on aurait juste pu dire ça. Liv Del Estal demande au public de chanter avec elle sur le refrain ; pas besoin de tester trop de fois si ça fonctionne, on comprend vite et on l’accompagne avec plaisir.
La soirée passe à une vitesse folle. Les derniers titres, “Minable” et “Amour Scandaleux”, sont accompagnés d’une jam électro pour nous faire danser de plus belle, notamment sur le second qui ne fait que prolonger le plaisir de ce titre et du refrain qui nous reste en tête. Après un moment laissé au rappel, Liv Del Estal revient pour nous livrer un dernier morceau afin de clôturer cette soirée, mais c’est aussi sa dernière sortie en date : “Cœur Titane”.
Un nouvel EP ne devrait pas tarder à sortir, bien que le titre n’en soit pas encore révélé. Mais on espère qu’après le Trabendo puis l’Élysée Montmartre en novembre, Liv Del Estal reviendra nous faire danser par ici !

On Wednesday March 11th, we headed to La Bulle Café for an evening event organised by A Gauche De La Lune, featuring Liv Del Estal. The singer offers a sound that blends electro with pop, but promises to get us dancing and singing along with her, with a big smile on our faces.

Tonight, there’s no support act scheduled: we’re getting straight down to business. Messes Basses, the DJ and producer accompanying Liv Del Estal tonight, takes to the stage first and kicks off the evening with a beat, before we move on to some electro to get everyone moving a bit. After a few minutes, the singer takes to the stage and introduces herself briefly: “I’m Liv Del Estal, but you can also call me… ‘La Chica Tamagotchi’”, and that’s all it takes to launch into this bright, danceable track that the crowd easily picks up on. Liv Del Estal began her career in pop, but now there’s no doubt about it: that era has well and truly taken a new direction with the addition of electro to her productions, with which her voice blends perfectly. It’s a renaissance that began in our ears in 2024, notably with the track “Space Invaders”. Steeped in a club atmosphere and the sounds of the 2000s, we escape into the music.
But music remains a refuge, a nostalgic place where we battle our own demons, regardless of the BPM or the power of the beat, and Liv Del Estal sums this up perfectly in the intro to the next track: “If we’re here, it’s because deep down we’re all a bit ‘Fragile Hardcore’.” A track that combines these two contrasts which, in the end, are never far apart. Before launching into the track “À travers les buildings”, over a tempo that keeps building, Liv Del Estal finds herself with a bottle of rum in her hand, which quickly disappears into the hands of the audience.
The connection between the singer and her DJ is more than palpable: the glances and smiles exchanged leave no doubt that they’re enjoying the moment, having fun on stage too, and I think the audience is giving it right back to them. Even just with the song intros, the crowd roars with joy when they recognise the track. Everyone has room to dance as if we were at a club night. And as Liv Del Estal said at the start of her set, La Bulle Café offers an intimate venue that allows her, for her first gig in Lille, to really connect with her audience. Before moving on to the song “Casse toi”, the track is introduced almost like an exorcism of all those times when people have been mean to us but we didn’t know how to respond in the moment, when we could have just said that. Liv Del Estal asks the audience to sing along with her on the chorus; there’s no need to test it too many times to see if it works; we get the hang of it quickly and happily join in.
The evening flies by in a flash. The final tracks, “Minable” and “Amour Scandaleux”, are accompanied by an electro jam to get us dancing even harder, particularly the second one, which simply prolongs the pleasure of the track and the chorus that sticks in our heads. After a brief interval for the encore, Liv Del Estal returns to treat us to one final track to bring the evening to a close, but it’s also her latest release to date: “Cœur Titane”.
A new EP is expected to be released soon, although the title hasn’t been revealed yet. But we hope that after the Trabendo and then the Élysée Montmartre in November, Liv Del Estal will come back to get us dancing here again!
