November (ex Netfastcore) reviennent 4 ans après l’EP Portraits I avec sa suite. Intitulé Portraits II, ce nouvel EP sera disponible le 27 janvier prochain via Taste Of Mind et Believe Music.

Le premier titre de cette nouvelle sortie annonce la couleur, le groupe est de retour avec l’envie de tout casser sur son passage. Le morceau assez court commence par un riff de guitare avant que la voix arrive et nous assène des « no one can keep us down », ce qui montre bien l’état d’esprit du groupe de hardcore mélodique.

Le titre suivant montre que la formation cherche sans les copier à produire un son digne de grand groupes du genre, et c’est clairement réussi. On se voit bien foncer dans un pit au son de « Sharks And Mermaids »! L’outro du titre nous envoie directement à la piste suivante et son rythme effréné, on se retrouve avec un titre que Stick To Your Guns ne renierait pas. Les rythmiques sont hyper efficaces et les riffs dévastateurs. Bien évidemment les gangs vocals sont présents et c’est un bonheur à entendre. On sent tout le travail du groupe tout au long de ces quatre années. Le morceau « Old Ghost » se termine au son du discours dans Le Dictateur de Charlie Chaplin. Il reste le dernier titre pour prendre une dernière dose de melodic hardcore de grande qualité avec un titre qui annonce de belles choses pour les lives à venir.

Portraits II confirme le talent de November et son statut de groupe à suvire de très près. L’EP se classe dans les très bonnes surprises de ce début d’année et on vous invite à aller le découvrir dès sa sortie!

November (ex Netfastcore) are back 4 years after the Portraits I EP with its follow-up. Entitled Portraits II, this new EP will be available on January 27th via Taste Of Mind and Believe Music.

The first track of this new release announces the colour, the band is back with the desire to break everything in its path. The short track starts with a guitar riff before the voice comes in and says « no one can keep us down », which shows the state of mind of the melodic hardcore band.

The next track shows that the band is trying to produce a sound worthy of the great bands of the genre without copying them, and it is clearly successful. We can see ourselves running into a pit to the sound of « Sharks And Mermaids »! The outro of the track sends us directly to the next track and its frantic rhythm, we find ourselves with a track that Stick To Your Guns would not deny. The rhythms are very efficient and the riffs devastating. Of course, the gang vocals are present and it’s a joy to hear. You can feel all the work of the band throughout these four years. The track « Old Ghost » ends with the sound of the speech in Charlie Chaplin‘s The Great Dictator. The last track is a final dose of high quality melodic hardcore with a track that promises great things for the upcoming shows.

Portraits II confirms November’s talent and their status as a band to be followed very closely. The EP is one of the best surprises of this year and we invite you to discover it as soon as it is released!
