#Album : Cachemire – Suffit Juste D’Une Seconde (10/10/2025)

Cachemire arrive avec son nouvel opus SUFFIT JUSTE D’UNE SECONDE. Les français sont la relève rock de la décennie et ils ne viennent pas pour enfiler des perles ! Ces treize nouveaux titres aux tempos déchaînés décoiffent comme il faut ! Cette nouvelle sortie sera à retrouver via Enragé Prod et Les Deux Grands Secs Production.

Commençons par un constat assez simple : SUFFIT JUSTE D’UNE SECONDE est assurément un top de l’année ! Une des sorties françaises les plus efficaces et vives de ces dernières années. Mais développons tout de même pour vous expliquer pourquoi il faut aller l’écouter d’urgence. Les riffs sont d’une efficacité redoutable. Du début à la fin, on est happés par les titres. Ceux-ci sont d’ailleurs clairement taillés pour le live. On avait eu la chance d’en entendre certains aux Chariots Furieux comme “PIED AU PLANCHER” ou “SUIS MOI, BABY”, et on les retrouve ici avec plaisir. La voix de FredBastar est elle aussi extrêmement prenante. On lui retrouve parfois un timbre de Gaëtan Roussel au début de “PIED AU PLANCHER” ou encore de Pascal Obispo dans certaines notes “Adam”. Ce dernier titre est d’ailleurs totalement bouleversant. Traitant du genre, en prenant le point de vue d’un enfant se trouvant bloqué dans le mauvais corps. La quasi-totalité des textes sont écrits à la première personne du singulier, ce qui immerge d’autant plus dans le thème abordé. Ainsi “Ces Voix” traite des pathologies psychiatriques et de leur non (re)connaissance par la société. Certains titres apportent une touche d’optimisme sous entendu comme “2080” où Cachemire s’imagine raconter les années 2020 comme quelque chose de totalement absurde, supposant que le futur serait plus tolérant.

Le rock c’est aussi foncer, prendre la route et voir ce qui se passe après. C’est exactement cette ambiance qu’on retrouve dans “SUIS MOI, BABY” ou “PIED AU PLANCHER”, titre décidément très riche. Le rock c’est également les décennies précédentes, auxquelles “A l’Ancienne” rend hommage. La voix de FredBastard est aussi entraînante que bouleversante. Tant d’émotions la traversent et viennent nous prendre aux tripes. “SEUL” est comme un harpon qui nous chope et nous maintient presque en apnée.

On termine l’album avec “CHANSON POUR SEPULTURE”, sûrement un des must have à son enterrement ! Une sonorité d’orgue fait office d’introduction pour nous mettre dans l’ambiance de ce morceau. Il prône le défi, la victoire de la vie face à la mort, l’envie que le monde ne s’arrête pas avec soi… Un titre qui aborde un thème difficile, mais à la sauce rock’n’roll festif ! Que ce soit la fin de la vie, la fin de cet album : rien n’est définitivement terminé, et comme disait Freddy Mercury : Show Must Go On!

En définitive, SUFFIT JUSTE D’UNE SECONDE est un album riche, un vrai rock qui tape, tout en sachant rester dans la nuance et délivrant des messages forts. Le rock ce n’est pas juste un riff, c’est aussi un engagement artistique, ce que Cachemire a bien compris. On attend impatiemment de découvrir leur live, qui s’annonce grandiose, à La Cigale le 31 janvier 2026 !

Let’s start with a fairly simple observation: SUFFIT JUSTE D’UNE SECONDE is undoubtedly one of the best albums of the year! It’s one of the most effective and lively French releases of recent years. But let’s expand on that to explain why you need to go and listen to it right away. The riffs are incredibly effective. From start to finish, you’re hooked by the tracks. They’re clearly tailor-made for live performances. We were lucky enough to hear some of them at Les Chariots Furieux, such as ‘PIED AU PLANCHER’ and ‘SUIS MOI, BABY!’, and we’re delighted to find them here. FredBastar‘s voice is also extremely captivating. At times, we hear echoes of Gaëtan Roussel at the beginning of ‘PIED AU PLANCHER’ or Pascal Obispo in certain notes in ‘Adam’. The latter track is particularly moving. It deals with gender, taking the perspective of a child trapped in the wrong body. Almost all of the lyrics are written in the first person singular, which immerses the listener even more in the theme being addressed. Thus, ‘Ces Voix’ deals with psychiatric disorders and their lack of recognition by society. Some tracks offer a hint of optimism, such as ‘2080’, in which Cachemire imagines recounting the 2020s as something completely absurd, assuming that the future would be more tolerant.

Rock is also about going for it, hitting the road and seeing what happens next. This is exactly the vibe we find in ‘SUIS MOI, BABY’ and ‘PIED AU PLANCHER’, a decidedly rich track. Rock is also about the previous decades, to which ‘A l’Ancienne’ pays tribute. FredBastard’s voice is as catchy as it is moving. So many emotions run through it and grab us by the gut. ‘SEUL’ is like a harpoon that catches us and almost holds us in apnoea.

The album ends with ‘CHANSON POUR SEPULTURE’, surely a must-have at his funeral! An organ sound serves as an introduction to set the mood for this track. It advocates defiance, the victory of life over death, the desire for the world not to end with oneself… A song that tackles a difficult theme, but with a festive rock “n” roll twist! Whether it’s the end of life or the end of this album, nothing is ever truly over, and as Freddy Mercury said: The show must go on!

Ultimately, SUFFIT JUSTE D’UNE SECONDE is a rich album, true rock that packs a punch, while remaining nuanced and delivering powerful messages. Rock isn’t just a riff, it’s also an artistic commitment, something that Cachemire understands well. We can’t wait to see them live, which promises to be spectacular, at La Cigale on January 31st 2026!
