Les titans écossais du metalcore Bleed From Within sont de retour avec leur septième album studio, Zenith, qui sortira le 4 avril via Nuclear Blast Records. Après deux décennies d’énergie et d’évolution incessantes, le groupe continue de faire avancer son son, mélangeant le metalcore avec des éléments de death metal mélodique, de groove et de précision technique. Dès les premières notes de « Violent Natur »e, l’album montre clairement que Bleed From Within n’est pas en reste. La chanson fait monter la tension avant de déchaîner une tempête de riffs de guitare et de cris, préparant le terrain pour une frénésie de headbanging. « In Place of Your Halo » continue sur sa lancée avec des riffs sautillants, des influences de guitares djenty et un énorme refrain à chanter, avec un chant inoubliable que l’on se fera un plaisir de reprendre : « This is Armageddon ! » L’ajout surprise de cornemuses dans les derniers instants ajoute un clin d’œil à leurs racines écossaises, ce qui en fait l’un des moments les plus marquants de l’album.

La chanson titre apporte une nouvelle dynamique avec son mélange d’énergie thrashy et d’éléments atmosphériques, en partie grâce à des voix féminines qui ajoutent une touche épique. « God Complex » fait monter l’intensité avec des riffs dignes d’un stade et une énergie explosive, rappelant Parkway Drive. Josh Middleton de Sylosis les  rejoint sur « Hands of Sin », un morceau qui mélange des riffs thrashy avec un refrain mélodique et des moments chuchotés avant son final écrasant. L’album se termine par « Edge of Infinity », qui commence par une mélodie acoustique qui se développe progressivement jusqu’à un puissant point culminant. La dualité entre l’intensité brute et les moments de douceur et d’émotion fait de ce morceau une fin étonnante, dont les dernières notes se fondent dans une délicate outro au piano, comme une berceuse après la tempête.
